How to Keep Readers’ Attention on Social Media with Creative Presentation

Marketing is like clothing: you can sell canned meat naked in hungry years . And you will have no shortage of buyers. But try to behave the same way in a highly competitive market. And you will attract Perhaps. a couple of marginal people. It is the same with texts: if they are well packaged. The reader will do everything you want from him.

Marketer, journalist. And winner of the Runet Prize Igor Malinin spoke about the traditions that are typical of popular social networks, how to evaluate creativity, and showed several examples of posts with an unusual presentation of information.

Instagram

The number one sound hypothesis about social networks is that the more opportunities and formats you use, the more organic reach you will get.

Social media hypothesis number two is that the more people engage phone number library with your content (even at the view level), the more organic reach you’ll get.

IGTV, stories, masks – use all the new tricks to “appease” Instagram. And most importantly – come up with tricks to keep your audience as long as possible. For example, publish stories with a lot of small text: this way people will linger on your content, and the social network will think that they are interested in it.

A similar life hack: publish two stories in the “before/after” or “find 5 differences” format – people will scroll back and forth, and Instagram will think that your content is interesting.

Even the time spent viewing a post will be a plus in your “karma”. This is very creatively used by blogger @bizcarusel, who was one of the first to practice “seamless” galleries, and stitch the content specifically to the visual: to read interesting facts about social networks, you need to scroll build local backlinks through all the photos, which are so nice that you want to quickly move on to the new post.

According to legend, the author of this account got promoted without investments, only due to the creative feed (multiplied by useful texture). Now she is also active in stories, practicing a large number of interactions.

Telegram

As Artemy Lebedev says, good design (in our case, creativity) is born thanks to good restrictions. Telegram is much inferior to “traditional” social networks in b2c fax functionality, being initially a messenger, but this is an opportunity for authors to show their full creative potential, take conceptuality and individualism.

And in this sense, niche and tube channels beat large corporations with all their advertising budgets and brand books. An independent author is a quick response to news, the absence of any framework (both in terms of content and visuals) and, of course, sincerity and soul.

A striking example is the channel ” Silicon Galina “. The key to success is the sum of several factors:

  • The channel has a clear concept and a face, or rather, two: “Cashier Galya and geek Grisha are guides to all sorts of digital-schmigital.” A simple cashier from a grocery store on the next street, who actively reads news about IT and immerses herself in “digital” in every possible way. Only she doesn’t know it yet, but geek Grisha does. That’s how the channel gets “the latest news of this and that.”
  • The channel speaks the same language as you. Are there many sources of information about digital? Since ancient times, there have been such publications in Rus’: Anton Nosik’s “Evening Internet”, TJournal. News publics… Those who express creativity through direct human dialogue with the reader are the ones who shoot.
  • The channel has its own style in both texts and visuals (but there are no strict guidelines). A recognizable turquoise frame, which can be used to design both a news headline and a meme.
